Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actress and actor, is well-known for her role as the lead on a number of TV shows as well as for her strong performances in movies. She's popular in both Canadian as well as American Television. Emily first became interested when she saw her sister Katie doing a movie. When she realized that acting was her interest, she started to learn how to act and attend auditions. Her first audition was for commercials, but she was not cast until receiving a callback for the Canadian children's horror television show Are You Scared of Darkness? which featured her only in one scene, without any spoken dialogue. She got her first big breakthrough at 15, when she got a role as a regular in The WB series Glory Days. Emily's performances caught the attention from Dawson's creek's Greg Berlanti, who then made her a part of his television show Everwood. Emily was also a ballet dancer as well as a photographer. Teen once named her one of the most talented actors under the age of twenty. The actress was named the 51st on Maxim's Hot 100 list of 2014.
