Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd was 14 when she began to train in combat sports. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling before she made her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to continue building upon her win during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She defeated all her opponents in the first round. Following that, she travelled to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen with a majority vote. The loss put a mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss in the final by beating Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen was first introduced to the sport in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta 16 saw her rise from Bantamweight to her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen employed her skills in wrestling to knock down McGill via TKO in the third round (elbows and punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd did not have enough weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She won with a TKO after the second round. Invicta FC, 21 was her last fight for promotion. Invicta FC 21, Eubanks prevailed by a majority vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the second. Then, in her third fight she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the opening round, she was awarded a Bonus Performance of the Night. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent in a rematch at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. This was her debut major fight. Ladd, who won an unanimous decision in some great exchanges with the fighters, received an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie only needed 16 seconds to end Ladd and her streak. Yana Knitskaya lost by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7.7 on ESPN. She fought Norma Dumont as a substitute during her final fight against the UFC at UFC Fight Night 195. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
